Many outdoor streetwear brands struggle to balance sustainability with a sense of individuality and meaningful storytelling—often prioritizing performance or trend over a deeper connection to the natural world. Ecotrek was created to address that gap by building a brand identity that champions personal expression, shared outdoor advocacy, and sustainable values.
Through a cohesive system of naming, visuals, and product applications, the project demonstrates how a modern streetwear brand can feel both purposeful and environmentally grounded.

The Ecotrek wordmark combines bold, approachable typography with a custom mountain-inspired “k” that anchors the brand’s identity. Drawing from outdoor motifs and streetwear influences, option 22 was ultimately selected for its bold, distinctive type and lasting versatility.

Paired with Cals Sans, the system is modern, readable, and cohesive. Beyond visuals, Ecotrek’s messaging invites explorers to embrace the journey, connect with nature, and discover their own path—creating a brand that’s relatable, inspiring, and timeless.
